Outdoor Living & Entertaining

With nicer weather upon us it’s time to start thinking about outdoor living and entertaining. The weather breaks, the days are longer, yards are getting cleaned and the grass has begun to turn green. That’s when you know it’s time to move it outside.

I can’t even tell you how many patio chairs and tables I have purchased over the years. They just never stood up to our weather here in Nova Scotia. I searched for the answer for several years and finally found C.R. Plastic. It is simply the only way to go! Made in Canada, this outdoor furniture is as attractive as it is sturdy. Those of you who own it know exactly what I am talking about. Heavy enough not to blow in our crazy winds, it’s made from recycled plastic in Stratford, Ontario. You can leave it out all winter long so storage is not a problem. I will never have to replace it again.  Did you know: C.R. Plastic uses 579 milk jugs to make 1 adirondack chair?

No matter how big or small your outdoor space is, decorate it and use it. Besides flowers, add a chair or two to your front step with some outdoor pillows. It’s a great place to read after a long day and don’t forget to wave to your neighbours.

Something to think about: When entertaining outside this summer don’t worry about using plastic dishes and utensils. Use your everyday dishes. Worst-case scenario is you break one; it can be replaced.

Enjoy,
Liz
